What you will really be doing

🚀Drive the development and management of budgets, financial forecasts and cash flow plans to support strategic business goals

🤝Foster relationships and collaborate with teams across the organization to provide financial insights and advise on decision-making

🖥️ Participate in strategic processes across the organization (including M&A, partnership and capital market activities when relevant)

💼 Partner with senior management, department heads, and board representatives to provide financial guidance and strategic recommendations

🎉Contribute to shaping the culture and methodology of a growing software company and its finance team 

How you will be doing this

• Supporting the CEO and executive leadership by providing financial insights and driving key initiatives and thoughtful decision-making

• Be a business partner across the organization to align financial strategies with the organization’s goals and foster a sense of shared success

• Working cross-functionally to support large-scale strategic sales efforts and meaningful partnerships that drive growth

• Work closely with the accounting team to forecast financial profit and loss, producing performance-based analysis to support the organization’s overall business goals

Oslo, Norway but thanks to our flexible working approach feel free to blend work and leisure, essentially having a workation. Consider it a hybrid role!

The Team

You will be part of a close-knit finance team, collaborating with the accounting team to support the CEO and executive leadership. You’ll have a chance not only to work with senior stakeholders but also make a meaningful impact right from the get-go. We’re looking for someone who’s a natural people person and enjoys fostering strong relationships. As you grow with us, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to grow your team and help guide its future direction.

Who We Think You Are 

• A strong track record of success in management consulting, investment banking, or other relevant operational roles, typically built over several years of hands-on experience
  
• Proactive, you’re a natural problem-solver who stays one step ahead, tackling potential issues before they arise
  
• Structured and analytical, you love digging deeper to uncover insights that tell a meaningful story, not just producing reports
  
• A doer, who not only can execute but can also collaborate and influence
  
• Adaptable and resilient, you thrive on ambiguity and see challenges as opportunities for growth and improvement
