DevOps Engineer
What you tell your friends you do
“I work with our developers to automate the deployment of our applications. I make sure our systems are reliable, scaleable and secure so we can all sleep well at night.”
What you will really be doing
🚀 Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure while supporting the deployment and mobilization of Aize software products using advanced cloud technologies
🛠️ Implement various development, testing, and automation tools alongside cloud infrastructure
💻 Set up monitoring solutions to ensure system health, reliability, and performance, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues
🔐 Ensure cloud solutions adhere to security best practices and compliance standards
📝 Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and configurations
🤝 Work closely with Developers, SRE, DevOps and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions with applications
How will you be doing this
You'll collaborate with amazing, cross-functional teams, always putting your best foot forward. A big chunk of your role is automating everything in sight because, let’s be real, DevOps never likes to do the same task twice. You don’t do things just because they were always done that way, but you never ignore the lessons learned either (even those learned by others) and wear your scars with pride.
What we are currently working on
Our team is evolving to become enablers, driving a new way of working. We're building a cloud platform designed to make onboarding new developers and teams seamless and efficient. At the core of this change are autonomy and contribution, empowering teams to create and manage the resources they need for their services. It's a challenging but exciting journey, and one thing’s for sure—there’s never a dull moment! 😉
Team
The DevOps team has members from both the UK (5) and Norway (2). This means you’ll be collaborating with colleagues across the pond and of all levels. You'll have the freedom to work your way, learn from others, and share your own expertise. Naturally, your team will be there to support you, providing plenty of opportunities for growth and development along the way.
