DevOps Engineer - CloudOps
What you tell your friends you do
"DevOps is as much a philosophy as it is a role. I bridge the gap between code and production by automating deployments, keeping systems healthy and scalable, and building infrastructure that holds up under pressure"
What you will really be doing
🚀Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure that takes Aize’s products from idea to production
🧰 Create and improve developer tooling, automation, and internal platforms that remove friction and speed teams up
📈 Set up monitoring and observability so systems are reliable, performant, and issues are caught early
🔐 Design cloud solutions with security and compliance built in, not added as an afterthought
📚 Document infrastructure and processes clearly so others can understand, use, and extend what you build
🤝 Work closely with developers, SREs, DataOps, and other stakeholders to build scalable, self-service platforms
How you will be doing this
You'll collaborate openly across teams with a shared sense of ownership, always putting your best foot forward. A big chunk of your role is automating everything in sight because let’s be real, DevOps never likes to do the same task twice. You don’t change things for the sake of it; you ask the right questions, understand what’s already working and build thoughtfully from there. And ultimately, your goal is to leave teams more capable than you found them, through self-service tooling, well-designed developer experiences and the kind of autonomy that lets people do their best work.
What we are working on
Our team is evolving into true enablers, helping shape a new way of working across Aize. We are building an Internal Development Platform with one clear goal in mind: making it easy and smooth for new developers and teams to get started and to stay productive. At the heart of this journey are autonomy and contribution. We want teams to feel empowered to create, own, and manage the resources their services need, without unnecessary friction or bottlenecks.
We’ve launched an MVP of our Internal Development Platform, now used by most Aize development teams. With that in place, we’re refining the core by making components like Mermaid diagrams more flexible and plug-and-play so teams can easily extend the platform. It’s an ongoing, iterative process with plenty of challenges and learning along the way.
Who we think you are
You are humble, open, and collaborative, and you care deeply about how you work with others
You take ownership, inspire trust, and are motivated by enabling teams to succeed
You have relevant experience in a similar role (3+ years of experience at minimum)
You are experienced with cloud platforms (preferably Azure), Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
You are comfortable with scripting (Python, Bash), Linux, observability tools (Grafana preferred), and CI/CD & GitOps workflows
You understand cloud networking concepts and enjoy continuously improving systems and ways of working.
Tech Stack: Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, AKS, Terraform, Python, Bash, Grafana, Prometheus, Git, and GitLab CI.

About Aize
We believe our product will connect experts across disciplines, domains and industries.
For decades, siloed information and lack of collaboration have hindered teams working in heavy-asset projects. Solving that is our main priority - but only the beginning.
We say we see things differently, but people rarely accept different if it doesn’t also mean better. So we have to show our clients that we can deliver better for them and that’s why we’re recruiting the best from all over the world to help us.
At Aize, we know what happens when you give the smartest of us the tools to succeed.
